Where on earth are you??? We're now down to the last two and I haven't heard neither hide nor hair from you....

I'm so pleased with the Top 2. I think they each deserve to be there, and they are each so unique in their styles and performances. I'd be happy with either one winning (although I'll be buying Adam's album as soon as it's out).

So what's your thought on this season?

I support stephen kings statement 100%. She cant write worth a damn! That movie was so stupid and boring just like the book. They did not seem like real complex characters what-so-ever! He is great and its a free country if he wants to openly discuss how he feels then great!! The book was like 300 pages of nothing! She sees him like twice.. tells her he cant be around her bla bla bla then a fast climax at the end?!?!? WTF

First, the church is only as wealthy as the members make it with their tithes. Which is kinda a funny point. They donate to the church, because they believe in it, and they donated to help get prop 8 passed because they believed in it too.

Second, not that LLL believes that, but i' d take that kind of a system over the one you're talking about. a system where no-ones opinion or beliefs matter unless they are the same as yours. Saddam tried that, it didn't turn out to good for him.

Everyone is welcome to their opinions, so i figured i'd throw in mine. You talk about what the constitution says, and seem to completely ignore the fact that in the very same part of the constitution that you have posted up there, it talks about the creator. Most people in this world believe the creator to be God, Allah, or Buddha. Now this means that most of the world believes in one of these Gods teachings. Let just talk about the one that causes the most trouble for gays. Now 95% of the U.S. worships or at least believes in God, that is where the problem is for gays. The U.S. was founded with a Democratic government, which means in simple terms, that the will of the people shall be determined by popular vote. Since 95% of the people of this nations citizens believe in God, and God doesn't favor Homosexuality. Laws such as Prop 8 would have a hard time getting passed anyway with or without the support of any given church. Sounds to me like your problem is with Democracy. If that's the case, you could always move somewhere else, where maybe no-one else can have a say in how your gonna live in their religion influenced society! In fact, you could save all the money from your boycott movement and maybe buy your own country and practice whatever beliefs you want. Columbia might be for sale. The fact is, in this country, whether your gay, straight, black, white, or whatever, we all live by what the majority votes and decides.

Watching this video the filled me with love and joy, and then it pissed me off beyond reason. When I saw all of the couples and their families, I wished for them all of the happiness and love that the world had to offer. I wished that I will someday find that kind of love with my own little (okay, not so little) Harley Papa. It was like watching all of the families on Rosie's Family Cruise. It is bewildering to me how anyone with a grain of common sense and human decency would look at those families and not want that to exist...for the people in the pictures and for themselves. Love is what makes the world go 'round - or at least it should be. It really does take some serious nerve and ignorance to try to get in the way of people trying to fill their lives with love and happiness. While I am still pissed, I also agree with the ending. LOVE WILL PREVAIL!!! We should just all hunker down for the big fight and kick their hateful asses all the way back to HELL!!

How plain is it to see that love is love, and why do some people just not get it?

If I were a straight person, I'd be embarrassed to get married, because I'd feel like I was flaunting something that everyone should have, but doesn't. It would be like eating at an all-you-can-eat buffet while watching a commercial on world hunger.

How does it make some straight people feel better to deny LGBT people the right to marry, and what is so threatening about LGBT marriage to straight marriage, if it's exactly like straight marriage, except for a minor difference in the pairing up of the sex organs.

I would like to commend you on standing up for what you believe! I think that it is important to do in these days. I would like for you to explain to me though how the Mormon church devalues woman as you mentioned when discussing Gladys Knight. As you can probably tell already I am a member and I have been for going on 10 years now and I just don't see that. What I have seen is a deep respect for the women in the church, as a matter of fact I have been affiliated with several other faiths prior to joining the Mormon Church and the Mormons are definately the most respectful to women, so please elaborate.

I do not believe that you should marry people you aren't attracted to, what I am saying is that until recently (and in only select states) no one has the right to marry people of the same sex. Marriage has always been between a man and a woman until recent years when in certain states they have began to allow it.

The whole gay marriage thing is a moral issue and has only become a political issue in the last several years, and the issue is not affiliated with any particular party and the Mormon Church does remain politically neutral when it comes to political parties and any faith should have the right to fight issues that are contrary to their beliefs. If we adopted your policy then when you start the First Gay Church, you would also be expected not to fight against measures such as prop. 8. And no, the prop.8 thing didn't cost the "Mormon Church" a dime, but yes they urged their members to fight for the ban. Why have you chose to single out Mormons? They were not alone in the fight! If you are going to boycott you had better boycott other faiths as well, such as the Baptists, Catholics, Lutherans, etc.

Mormon Bishops can marry people of any faith! I know of a Jehovas Witness couple who were married by a Mormon bishop. I will admit this is rare though.

The Mormon Church did, in fact, urge members to donate money, time and effort promoting Proposition 8. Are you saying that that massive undertaking didn't cost the Church a dime? As I understand it, this actually goes against their own policy of supporting political efforts, although I could be wrong.

I did love your comment: "don't bash religious faiths that stand up for what they believe." So it's alright for wealthy religious organizations to bash people they don't approve of, but it's not alright for those people to fight back? You have a scary way of thinking about things.

That's the most asinine thing I've ever heard - you honestly believe gays and lesbians should marry people they are not attracted to and do not love in that way just to satisfy the demands of your specific belief? I think I'll pass.

As for Gary Allan, I found his name on a list of famous Mormon singers. When I went back to verify the information, the only source given was Wikipedia. Like you, I checked Wikipedia and found nothing related to the LDS. I did find a mention that stated a Mormon Bishop officiated at his and Danette's wedding, but that's the only thing I could find, so I've removed him from this list.

Just to correct your remark about the Mormon Church spending millions fighting civil liberties. I am sure you are talking about Prop. 8, but just to clarify, the church never spent any money toward this cause, but their individual members likely spent millions and I think we are still allowed to spend our money on causes we feel are important. I suppose you would prefer if people were to just kick their beliefs aside for the good of a minority? I think that is the mentality that is ruining our country. Frankly I could care less if gays get married because in the eyes of god it would'nt be a true union anyway, but don't bash religious faiths that stand up for what they believe. Anyway it was'nt just the mormons that fought in the prop. 8 battle.

Anytime a person is going to publish information on the web, they have an obligation to verify that their information is correct. Many people take anything they find on the web as truth, but actually there seems to be few reliable sources available.

Gays and Lesbians do have the same rights as the rest of us they can marry others of the opposite sex. Also where did you get your information about Gary Allan being a Mormon? I have tried and tried to verify it but cannot. Some people claim it is on Wikipedia, but it is not there!

good call on this article. the ringer situation is most agreeably shameful. Kristen McNamara has had more chances than most in the music business. add that she choked bigtime on Nashville Star, had contracts with major labels in Nashville, has a contract with John Stewart Music (www.myspace.com/johnstewart... and it becomes easy to see that American Idol has lost its course and that people like Kristen Mcnamara and the others should leave the door open for real undiscovered artistic talent.
